There are a number of different ways to get a free computer, especially if you fit into certain categories of people. If you are a senior citizen, veteran, or low income family, then there are organizations that will help you get a free computer.

If you don't fall into one of these categories, then it can be more difficult, but still possible to get a free computer. In most cases you will be limited to computers that require you to look at advertisements. There are also companies that will give you a computer is you purchase Internet access from them. In most cases you will end up paying more for your Internet connection, but at least you will have a computer to use it with.

Many sites will claim to offer free computers, when in reality they require you to complete multiple offers. At least some of these offers will require you to provide your credit card information, and in the end will not be "free" at all. Make sure you read any fine print before you provide any of your personal information, especially anything like your credit card number. If an offer sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.

Finally a word of warning. Be very careful where you go to find a free computer. Make sure that whatever source you find for you free computer is reputable. Make sure you check the The Better Business Bureau (BBB) and search the Internet for reviews of the site you indent to use.
